Systems Engineers for Gripen's Pilot Equipment and Rescue Systems
Do you want to help make Gripen's pilot equipment and rescue systems even better? We are looking for systems engineers for exciting tasks in this area!
Your Role
We are looking for employees for the Aircrew Equipment and Escape & Oxygen systems sections. The sections work closely together. Work is carried out in project form. Our competent teams consist of engaged and supportive colleagues who will quickly integrate you into both the community and the work, where you will participate in various stages of the development chain. From requirements specification, design, and systems safety work to verification in simulators and flight tests, as well as system maintenance.
The roles are versatile and offer the opportunity to broaden and deepen your expertise in the technical field. You will build a good network within Saab. We have close collaboration with subcontractors, which means that business trips may occur.
Main Responsibilities:
- Development of systems & devices
- Requirements breakdown
- Requirements verification
- Technical documentation
- Testing and verification
- Investigation of operational issues
- Maintenance preparation
The direction of your development will partly be guided by your previous experiences and interests.
The position is exclusively based on-site at our office in Tannefors, Linköping.
The Person You Are Today
We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team where everyone supports each other to achieve common goals. You have a few years of experience in systems work and development and thrive in the company of others, and you are not afraid to ask questions when you need information. We will place great importance on your personal qualities.
To succeed in your role, you need to have a good sense of mechanics and physics and a desire to see the big picture in large systems. A suitable background is a university degree in engineering.
Documentation and contacts in daily work are conducted in both English and Swedish, so you must be proficient in both languages, spoken and written. Previous experience with Saab is an advantage.
The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to current regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
